تأسس "مجلس الإمارات للتنافسية" عام 2009، الإمارات العربية المتحدة.
يهدف المجلس إلى مراجعة واعتماد استراتيجية التنافسية في الدولة، واقتراح السياسات والمبادرات الملائمة لتعزيز تنافسية الإمارات، ومتابعة تنفيذها، كما يتولى تقييم التنافسية الوطنية والعمل على تشجيع الحوار بين القطاعين الحكومي والخاص بهدف تحسين التنافسية في كافة القطاعات.
وفي عام 2015، حلّت "الهيئة الاتحادية للتنافسية والإحصاء" محل "مجلس الإمارات للتنافسية" بموجب مرسوم بقانون اتحادي رقم /6/ لعام 2015، للارتقاء بالتنافسية العالمية للدولة.
وبتاريخ 14 ديسمبر (كانون أول) 2020، اعتمد الشيخ محمد بن راشد إعادة تشكيل "مجلس الإمارات للتنافسية"، على أن يبدأ المجلس عامه الجديد عام 2021، برؤية جديدة لترسيخ تنافسية دولة الإمارات.
