The Alkibar 500 is an annual ranking of the largest 500 companies in the Arab world by revenue, published as part of the Manhom Lists by Majarra. The ranking covers companies from 20 Arab countries and is published in both Arabic and English.
Companies are ranked based on total revenues for the 2024 fiscal year. The list includes publicly listed companies that report to stock market authorities, as well as private companies whose revenues are publicly available or verified through reliable sources. Financial data is reviewed and validated by the Manhom research team using official disclosures and company information.
To ensure consistency across markets, revenues are converted into U.S. dollars, and year-over-year growth rates are also calculated in USD.
Both public and private companies may be included if reliable financial data is available. Companies that do not publish updated financial reports are excluded, as are sovereign wealth funds.
If a parent company appears on the list, its subsidiaries are excluded when the parent owns more than 50% of the entity or holds controlling voting rights, to avoid duplication in revenue reporting.
Note: The market cap value of the companies in the list is based on data from October–November 2025.
