She is the founder of Rasha Al-Houshan Co.

She co-founded Houshan Furniture, and held several positions in it, including: General Manager, Deputy General Manager, Marketing and Design Manager, and Design Manager. She also held the position of Business Development Manager in Houshan Group, and worked as a lead designer in Shalimar Company.

Rasha served as a member of the board of directors of Kingdom Holding Company, and as a member of both the board of directors and the executive committee of Houshan Group.

She was ranked among the 100 Most Powerful Businesswomen in the Middle East in 2017 according to Forbes Middle East.

She holds a Master's degree in Interior Design from Pratt Institute in the United States of America in 1998, a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Washington College of Law at American University in 1995), and completed the Management Acceleration Program at INSEAD in 2008.
