President of the Arab Gulf University since September 2023, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

He held several positions in the Saudi Ministry of Education , including: Assistant Minister of Education with the Excellent Rank between 2019 and 2023, Undersecretary of the Ministry for Private Education and General Supervisor of Private University Education between 2015 and 2019, Undersecretary of the Ministry for School Affairs between 2009 and 2015, General Supervisor of Administrative and Financial Affairs during 2013, and Undersecretary of the Ministry for Buildings between 2014 and 2015.

He also held several positions in the Ministry of Education, including: Director General of Planning and Policies between 2003 and 2009, Acting Director General of the General Administration of Investment and Education Economics in 2009, Director of the Policy Department between 2002 and 2003, Educational Supervisor in the General Administration of Educational Planning in 2002, Educational Supervisor in the General Administration of Educational Research between 1995 and 1998, and Student Counselor between 1986 and 1989. He also held the position of full-time Research Assistant in the Gifted and Talented Students Identification and Care Program at King Saud University between 1990 and 1994.

He served as a member of the Board of Directors of Tatweer Educational Transportation Services Company between 2013 and 2015, the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the same company between 2013 and 2015, the Supervisory Committee of the School Feeding Project at Tatweer Holding Company between 2013 and 2014, the Supreme Council of the Prince Mohammed bin Naif Center for Counseling and Care, the Ministerial Preparatory Committee for Combating Drugs, and the Permanent and Executive Committee for Activating the Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Higher Education.

He chaired many committees, seminars, conferences and educational projects, and has many scientific researches and studies.

He holds a PhD in Educational Theories and Policies from Pennsylvania State University in 2002, a Master's degree in Psychology from King Saud University in 1995, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the same university in 1986.
