Misr Fertilizer Production Company (MOPCO) was established in Egypt on July 26, 1998, and listed on the Egyptian Exchange in March 2015.
Specializing in the production of nitrogenous fertilizers, MOPCO is a major producer of anhydrous ammonia, granulated urea, and nitrogen.
The company exports its products to 24 countries worldwide. MOPCO operates an industrial complex for the production of ammonia, urea, and their derivatives, as well as marine loading facilities, pipelines, and additional facilities for transporting gas and water to the complex.
The company also owns and operates pipelines, pipelines, metering units, tanks, and carriers connecting production and export areas. Additionally, MOPCO establishes companies that engage in similar or related activities. A subsidiary of MOPCO is the Egyptian Company for Nitrogenous Products.
