Union Internationale de Banques was established in December 1963 and listed on the Tunis Stock Exchange in August 1993.
The bank provides a wide range of services to both individual and corporate clients, including accepting deposits of all sizes, granting loans of all types, brokerage, foreign exchange, and advisory services for asset management, financial management, and facilitating the creation, development, and restructuring of companies.
In 2002, the bank underwent privatization with Société Générale acquiring a 52% stake in its capital.
