He has been a medical advisor at the Presidential Office since March 2020, a cardiovascular disease consultant at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City since November 2005, and an interventional cardiologist at Abu Dhabi Health Services Company “ SEHA ” since December. 2005.

He served as Chief Medical Officer at “ Mafraq Hospital ” between 2018 and 2020. He also held several positions at “ Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, ” including: Head of the Cardiac Sciences Department between 2017 and 2019, Chief Medical Officer between 2012 and 2017, Executive Medical Chief and Head of the Medical Services Department. He also headed the cardiovascular service department at Abu Dhabi Health Services Company “SEHA” between 2012 and 2019.

He won the “Chairman of the Executive Council Medal” in the specialized field category in 2015.

He obtained a specialized fellowship in interventional cardiology in 2005 from the University of British Columbia in Canada, the Canadian Board of Cardiology in 2004, and the Canadian Board of Internal Medicine in 2001 from the same university.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery in 1994 from Cairo University .
