She is a member of the board of directors of the Emirates Solar Energy Industries Association, the Women in Solar Energy Program, and the Steering Committee of the Clean Energy Business Council in the Middle East and North Africa.

She held several positions at General Electric Middle East and North Africa , including CEO of the UAE and Global Head of Strategy and Operations for International Markets from 2021 to 2024, and President and CEO of the Gulf region from 2014 to 2021.

She also held several positions at General Electric, including: Director of Growth Strategy for the Middle East, North Africa, Turkey and Pakistan, Director of GE Power and Water from 2012 to 2013, Regional Marketing Director for the Middle East from 2012 to 2012, Senior Director of Market Development and Regional Marketing for the Middle East from 2010 to 2012, and Commercial Leadership Program Expert from 2008 to 2010.

She founded Haya Enterprises LLC and served as its CEO from August 2002 to December 2007.

She was ranked among the “100 Most Powerful Businesswomen in the Middle East” for 2023 and 2024 by Forbes Middle East .

She obtained her PhD in 2016 from Imperial College London, and an MBA in 2005 from the American University in Dubai .
