Emirati director and actor.

He is the Secretary-General of the "Theatrical Artists Association", Vice President of the "Youth Theatre for Arts", and a member of the Board of Trustees of the " Sharjah Performing Arts Academy " since January 2020, and a founding member of the "Ras Al Khaimah National Theatre".

He held the position of Director of Cultural Centers at the Ministry of Information and Culture, and Advisor to the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development .

Among the theatrical works he directed are: “The Handkerchief”, “Forgotten Moments”, “The Last Song”, “Three Screams”, “Destiny” and “The Song of the Mute”. He also wrote the play “What Next?” in 2011.

He also participated in acting in several films, such as: "218: Behind the Wall of Silence" in 2021, "Khorfakkan" 2020, "Forced Travel" 2019, "11 Days" 2018, "The Chosen" 2017, "Dam Drop" 2016, "Sun Dress" 2014, "Royal Love" 2013, "Ghafa Awsha" 2010, "Eidiya Metha" 2009, "City of Life" 2009, "Marasi" 2008, "Punishment" 2006, in addition to acting in a number of plays, including: "Majarih" in 2019, "A Tale That Scheherazade Did Not Tell" 1988, "Hanthala's Journey" 1985, "The Clowns", "Fear", and "The Flood".

He holds a PhD in Dramatic Literature in 1999 from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom, a Master’s degree in Dramatic Directing in 1995 from the Academy of Arts in Cairo, a Postgraduate Diploma in Dramatic Directing from the same academy, and a Bachelor’s degree in Acting and Directing in 1987 from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in Kuwait.
