Before assuming his current position, he held a number of positions in the banking sector:

• Managing Partner at Durant Business Advisors.
• Head of Corporate Banking at Bank Audi Iraq
• Head of Corporate Lending Department at Bank Audi Iraq
• Senior Corporate Relationship Manager at Banque SBA Paris during the first quarter of 2014
• Senior Corporate Relations Manager at Bank Audi Syria between 2007 and 2014
• Senior Consultant at DBDO Jawad Habib between 2006 and 2007
• Vice President of the Information Technology Department and Programming Team Leader at the Syrian Virtual University (SVU ) between 2002 and 2005.

He served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Syrian Young Entrepreneurs Association (SYA) between 2007 and 2013.

He holds an MBA from Imperial College London, UK, in 2006, and a BS in Computer Science from the American University of Beirut, UK , in 2002.
