She is the founder, CEO and board member of Pyramedia Company since 1998, media image analysis consultant at the same company since January 2003, media consultant at the National Media Office since September 2005, and at the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage since January 2005.

She is also the founder and CEO of the "Nashwa Charitable Society" since January 2008, the CEO of the "Dalma Medical Center" since January 2009, and the owner of the "Nashwa Jewellery" brand since January 2018.

She served as a member of the judging panel for the "International Emmy Awards for Digital Business" and as a member of the "International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences".

She began her media career as a presenter and producer at Qatar TV , then worked as an executive producer and presenter with MBC Group in London and the UAE, where she launched several television programs, including: Good Morning Arabs, Frankly Speaking with Nashwa, Frank Talk, and Soft Talk.

She also headed the "MBC" channel in Egypt and North Africa, and held the position of Creative Director of Programs in the same channel, and worked at "Dubai TV" and Abu Dhabi TV.

She received the Mother Teresa Memorial Award for Social Justice in 2018, the title of Woman Knight in the field of media by the United Nations, was ranked among the "100 Most Powerful Businesswomen in the Middle East for 2025" by Forbes Middle East magazine , and was included in the "25 Most Powerful Women in the Media Industry" list by The Hollywood Reporter magazine.

She holds a Master's degree in Political Science and Governance from the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London in the United Kingdom, and a Master's degree in Islamic Studies from the same school.
