Member of the Board of Directors of the Food Security Center , United Arab Emirates. He held several positions in the Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi , namely: Executive Director of the Planning and Statistics Sector, Director of the Economic Planning Department, Director of the Studies Department between 2004 and 2006, and Director of Financial and Administrative Affairs between 1993 and 2004. He was also Director of Finance at the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department between 1992 and 1993, a financial inspector in the Banking Supervision Department at the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates between 1987 and 1992, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Statistics Center - Abu Dhabi . He holds a master’s degree in economics in 2002 from Ain Shams University in Egypt, and a bachelor’s degree in accounting and public administration in 1987 from the United Arab Emirates University . He holds a certificate in knowledge-based economics, policy making, finance and global economics in 2010 from the London Business School, and a certificate in international economic development in 2011 from the Cranfield School of Management at Cranfield University in the United States of America.
