Deputy Director General for Planning and Development Affairs at the Department of Economic Development in Dubai “Dubai Economy” since 2010, United Arab Emirates.

He is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of “ Amlak Finance Company ” since April 2015, United Arab Emirates, Managing Director of “Emcredit Company”, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of “ Emaar Industries and Investment Company ”, and a member of the Board of Directors of “Emaar Development Company” since April 18, 2023, “Emirates Collection Company”, and “ Emaar Malls Company ” since 2017.

He chaired the Board of Directors of “Emaar Financial Brokerage Company”, and held the position of Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Amlak Finance Company” between 2007 and 2015, after being a member of its Board of Directors between 2004 and 2007. He was also a member of the Board of Directors of “Dubai Financial Market”, “Al Nasr Cultural and Sports Club”, and a member of the Supreme Insurance Committee and the Commercial Agencies Committee.

He held several positions in the Department of Economic Development in Dubai (Dubai Economy) , where he supervised the work on completing the economic plan between 2013 and 2015, and participated in the working group that prepared the Dubai Strategic Plan between 2007 and 2015. He also held the position of Deputy Director General of Executive Affairs between 2003 and 2010, Director of the Commercial Registration Department between 1997 and 2003, and Director of the Planning and Studies Division between 1993 and 1997.

He joined the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates as a Senior Statistician in the Monetary and Banking Statistics Department between 1983 and 1984, then held the position of Assistant Director of the Research and Statistics Department between 1987 and 1993, and Director of the Monetary Statistics Department between 1984 and 1987.

Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Foreign Language from the United Arab Emirates University.
