He held several positions in the Dubai Financial Market , namely: Chairman of the Board between 2013 and 2021, General Manager between 1999 and 2006, and Managing Director.

He holds an honorary doctorate from "Ko College" in the United States of America, a master's degree in Total Quality Management in 1998 from "University of Wollongong in Dubai", another master's degree in Economics in 1987 from "University of Iowa" in the United States, and a bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics and Computer Science from "Ko College".
