Sherifa Al Balushi's Bio

Assistant Professor at the College of Natural and Health Sciences at Zayed University , United Arab Emirates. Member of the UAE Nutrition Committee and the UAE Public Health Committee. She held several positions at the Ministry of Health and Community Protection , and worked as a nutritionist at Al Ain Hospital . She received the “Distinguished Employee Award” from the Ministry of Health and Community Protection in 2010, and the “Distinguished Employee Award in Primary Health Care” from the same ministry in 2012. She holds a PhD in Public Health and Nutrition in 2017 from the United Arab Emirates University , a Master’s degree in Healthcare Management in 2010 from Zayed University , and a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Food Sciences in 1997 from the United Arab Emirates University .
