Al Mahhar Holding Company began operations in 1989, initially through its wholly-owned subsidiary PetroTech. The group was formally established in February 2014.
Listed on the Qatar Stock Exchange since June 2023, Al Mahra is a Qatari conglomerate focused on the energy and infrastructure sectors. Its services include the sale of equipment and spare parts, the provision of rental equipment for the energy and infrastructure sectors in Qatar, and the provision of maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for the same sectors.
The group has several subsidiaries, including Petroleum Technology Company (Petrotec), Qatar Welding and Fabrication Supplies, Team Services and Rentals, and Al Mahhar Al Kuwaitiyya for Light and Heavy Equipment and Machines, among others.
