Equity and Empowerment

"Equity and Empowerment" is a women led, non-governmental, and non-profit organization dedicated to achieving social justice. It operates primarily from within Syria and neighboring countries.

Its mission is to ensure women's rights in social, economic, environmental, and political justice, and to support sustainable development by empowering women to improve their health and well-being. The organization aims to enable women to participate in and influence decision-making processes and to achieve independence through access to skills, knowledge, and resources.

Equity and Empowerment works to:

• Achieve social justice by developing women's skills and ensuring equal opportunities.
• Provide protection measures and psychosocial support services.
• Promote a culture of citizenship to eliminate gender-based discrimination and violence.
• Empower women across various sectors and fields.
• Deliver informal education for girls, women, and children, including both academic and vocational training.
• Advocate for accountable governance and inclusive participation of women in local governance frameworks.
• Support digital security measures to prevent and address cases of blackmail.

"Equity and Empowerment" operates across the entire geography of Syria, whether through its research, online projects, or physical centers.
