Director of the “Innovation Center” of the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority “Dewa” , United Arab Emirates.

 She is a member of the Mohammed bin Rashid Academy of Scientists and the UAE National Committee for Standardization of Renewable Energy and Storage Technologies. 

She held the position of senior researcher and head of solar energy research at the “Innovation Center” between 2017 and 2020, and a researcher at the “Masdar Institute of Science and Technology” between 2011 and 2017, and a teaching assistant at the same institute between 2015 and 2016. 

She also worked in “Global Foundries Factories” in 2012. Many awards, including: “Women in Solar Energy Award” in 2019 by the “Middle East Solar Energy Industries Association”, “Emirates Award for Postgraduate Studies in the Field of Energy” in 2018, and “Sheikh Rashid Award for Scientific Excellence” in 2017, and the “Young Emirati Researcher Award” in 2013 from the “National Research Foundation,” and the “Ras Al Khaimah Award for Scientific Excellence” in 2012. 

She holds a doctorate in microsystems engineering in 2016 from the “Masdar Institute of Science and Technology” in the Emirates, and a master’s degree. in Microsystems Engineering in 2013 from the same institute, and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications Engineering in 2011 from the American University of Ras Al Khaimah.
