He is the founder and chairman of the board of the Think20 (T20) group in Egypt since June 2014.

He served as CEO of Jumia Egypt , Executive Director of Jumia Pay Group, and Vice President of Business Growth and Executive Director of Jumia Pay Egypt.

He also held the position of Head of Growth at Al-Tabi Company, and CEO of both Aprocot for digital marketing and technology, and Deer & Deal Platform in Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

He founded the Groupon website in the Middle East and North Africa region, and held the position of General Manager in it. He was a consultant at McKinsey & Company, and a member of the founding team of the company’s office in Cairo, in addition to his work as a computer science teacher at the German University in Cairo .

He holds an Executive Doctorate in Business Administration from "École des Ponts Business School" in France in 2024, a Master's degree in the same field from "INSEAD" in the same country in 2008, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Concordia University in Canada in 2003.
