He served as Director of Human Resources for Automotive between 2014 and 2017 in the same group, Senior Vice President of Human Resources at First Gulf Bank between 2012 and 2014, and Assistant Director of Global Markets at Standard Chartered Bank Middle East between 2005 and 2007.

He also held several positions at Lloyds Banking Group in the Emirates, namely: Executive Director of Business and Strategic Human Resources between 2009 and 2012, Business Advisor and Head of Emiratisation between 2008 and 2009, and Business Advisor between 2007 and 2008.

He was a measurement and control instrumentation engineer at ADNOC Group between 2003 and 2005, a marine engineer at Schlumberger between 2001 and 2003, and a planning engineer at Ras Al Khaimah Cement Company between 1998 and 2000.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation and Control in 1998 from Indiana State University in the United States of America.
