She has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Discount Exchange since 2023, and is a candidate for membership in the Federal National Council for the year 2023 for the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

She served as Director General of the Sharjah Ruler’s Office between October 2015 and March 2022, Director General of the Sharjah Labour Standards Development Authority between June 2014 and October 2015, Sharjah Radio and Television between March and June 2009, Managing Director, Executive Director and Board Member of the Sharjah Media Corporation between June 2009 and December 2010, and Advisor to the same corporation between December 2010 and June 2014.

She also served as Vice President of Corporate and Community Communications at Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (du ) between October 2008 and March 2009, Director of Corporate Social Responsibility at the same company between 2006 and 2008, and Director of Education and Community Activities for the Gulf Region at Microsoft between December 2003 and August 2006.

She was a lecturer of Management Information Systems at the University of Sharjah between May 2000 and December 2003, Supervisor of Software Development and Information Technology at Emirates Telecommunications Group “Etisalat ” in 2000, and Head of the Information Technology and Financial Affairs Department at the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in London between 1998 and 1999.

She published a book entitled “Empowering Youth and the Future of the United Arab Emirates Towards a More Effective Place in the Next Fifty Years” in 2021.

Have experience in leading government institutions, setting institutional strategies and standards, and soft power strategies.

She holds a PhD in Management and Economics, specializing in Knowledge Management and Transfer, in 2020 from the United Arab Emirates University , a Master’s degree in Information Management in 1998 from Webster University in the United States of America, a Higher Diploma in Information Systems in 1994 from Dubai Women’s College , and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science in 1996 from the American International University of Richmond in London.
