He has an experience in global markets and treasury, having worked in foreign exchange, interest rate derivatives, international finance, principal investments, and asset and liability management.

He held several positions at Emirates NBD , including Group Head of Asset and Liability Management, Treasury and Global Markets between 2021 and 2023, Managing Director of Group Asset and Liability Management, Senior Manager between 2015 and 2016, Head of International Finance between 2013 and 2015, Senior Trader on the Interest Rate Derivatives Desk between 2009 and 2013, Foreign Exchange Trader between 2007 and 2009, and Head of Treasury at Emirates Islamic Bank between 2016 and 2019.

He holds an MBA from the Canadian University Dubai in 2014, a Bachelor of Business Administration from Dubai Men’s College in 2009, and a Finance Certificate from London Business School in 2019.
