He held several positions at Kuwait Oil Company, including: Executive Vice President for Planning and Financial Affairs between August 2019 and November 2022, Vice President for Planning and Trade between May and August 2019, Director of Planning between 2013 and 2019, Strategic Planning Team Leader between 2003 and 2013, and Reservoir Engineer between 1993 and 2003.

He has over 25 years of experience in hydrocarbon business, strategic planning and investment portfolio management.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering in 1992 from the Colorado School of Mines in the United States of America, and an Advanced Management Program certificate in 2018 from the International Institute for Management Development in Switzerland. He also passed the Advanced Management Program in 2013 from Harvard Business School in the United States.
