She has been a Senior Advisor to the Director General at the Dubai Electronic Security Center since July 2023, Deputy Director of the Information Services Department at the same center since July 2018, Director of Policies at the Dubai Digital Authority since December 2022, and Head of the Digital Skills Committee at the same authority since August 2021.

She has also been the founder of the Dubai Cybersecurity Innovation Park since January 2022, a Cyberforce Advisor at the same park since March 2023, the UAE Representative for the World Bank Group Cloud Presidency at the World Bank Group since December 2023, a member of the World Economic Forum since September 2020, and a mentor at the International Telecommunication Union’s Women in the Internet Mentoring Program since February 2021.

She has been a member of the Advisory Board of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Khalifa University since June 2020, the Secure Systems Research Center at the Technology Innovation Institute since April 2019, the College of Computing and Informatics at the University of Sharjah since March 2019, the College of Engineering and Information Technology at the University of Dubai since March 2018, and a member of the Research Advisory Board at the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park since March 2019.

She has been the Chair of the IEEE UAE Section Industrial Relations Group since March 2018, and the Chair of the Computer Information Science Advisory Board at the Higher Colleges of Technology since January 2017.

She was IT Team Manager at the Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai between 2007 and 2010, and Systems Analyst at Abu Dhabi National Oil Company ( ADNOC ) between December 2005 and July 2007.

She holds a PhD in Cyber Security and Computer Forensics in 2016 from Khalifa University, a Master’s in Information Security and Digital Forensics in 2011 from the same university, a Master’s in Public Administration and Political Science in 2010 from Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government , and a Bachelor’s in Information Technology and Software Engineering in 2005 from United Arab Emirates University .
