She has been a Fellow of the Economic Club of New York since January 2024.

She has been a member of the National Committee for the Regulation of Ethical Content in Information Technology, representing private sector institutions, since 2020, and a member of the Advisory Board for the Computer Engineering and Management Information Systems Programs at Al Yamamah University .

She held several positions at IBM , including:

• Director and Leader of Customer Support and Products from 2024 to 2025.
• Leading Technical Services Delivery in the Middle East and Africa in Saudi Arabia by 2023.
• Executive Officer for Clients and Strategic Accounts across Europe, the Middle East and Africa from 2022 to 2023.
• Strategic Business Development Leader for Data, AI , and Global Cognitive Programs from 2021 to 2022.
• Strategy Leader in Saudi Arabia between 2019 and 2021.

She was also an advisor to the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSRelief ) from January to July 2018, and an advisor to the National Digital Transformation Committee of the Digital Transformation Unit from 2018 to 2019.

She held several positions at King Saud University , including: Head of the Information Department, Vice Dean of E-Transactions and Communications between 2016 and 2019, Assistant Professor between 2015 and 2019, Consultant at the Deanship of E-Transactions and Communications between 2015 and 2016, and Assistant to the Vice Dean for Development and Quality between 2015 and 2016.

She also served as a faculty member at the Institute of Public Administration between 2005 and 2007, and worked as a technical support specialist at the same institute between 2000 and 2002.

She was selected by Forbes magazine as one of the "Most Distinguished Women in Artificial Intelligence of the 21st Century."

She holds a PhD in Computer Science from George Washington University in the United States of America in 2015, a Master's degree in the same field from King Saud University in 2005, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the same university in 2000.
