He has been Chairman of the Supervisory Board of “Energy Morocco” since 2021, Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Al Taweelah Independent Water Desalination Plant Project using Reverse Osmosis Technology” and “Al Mirfa International Water and Electricity Company” since 2020, and a member of the Board of Directors of Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company “Masdar” since 2022, and “Sohar Aluminium Company” in Oman since 2021.

He served as Senior Vice President of Asset Management in the Oil and Gas sector at Mubadala Investment Company (Mubadala), formerly known as Mubadala Development Company, between 2014 and 2016, and Asset Manager at Mubadala Petroleum Company between 2011 and 2015, where he was responsible for oversight, governance and shareholder interest management at both Dolphin Energy and Emirates LNG. He also served as Business Development Manager at the same company between 2007 and 2011.

He held the position of Falah Marine Field Development Manager at Petrofac Emirates between 2007 and 2008, and Project Leader, Operations Engineer and Business Performance Consultant at the company’s UK headquarters, Petrofac International, between 2006 and 2007.

Holds a Master’s degree in Leadership and Strategy from London Business School in 2012, and a Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from Imperial College London in 1999. Sohar Aluminium Company in Oman since 2021.
