She served as Director of the Non-Communicable Diseases Department at the Abu Dhabi Department of Health , Head of the Cancer Control Section at the Abu Dhabi Health Authority , Senior Director of the Global Breast Cancer Awareness Program at the same authority, and worked as a Mother and Child Health Specialist at the Ministry of Health and Prevention , and as a General Surgeon at the same ministry.

I achieved third place in the "Abu Dhabi Award for Distinguished Government Performance" in the specialized field in 2015.

She holds a PhD in Public Health (2014) from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in the United States, a Master of Science in Maternal and Child Health (2000) from the University of London, and a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (1993) from King Faisal University .
