He served as CEO of Emirates Islamic Bank, advisor to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the same bank, CEO of Dubai Bank, Deputy CEO of Emirates NBD, and Head of Retail Banking and Wealth Management in the same group. He also led several initiatives for Emirates NBD.

He held the position of Chairman of Emirates Islamic Financial Brokerage, Independent Director at Al Baraka Group, and Independent Non-Executive Director at ABG Sukuk Limited. He was also CEO of Dubai Bank PJSC and Chairman ofEmirates Money Consumer Finance.

He has over 26 years of experience in various roles and responsibilities across the corporate, retail, trade finance, and human resources sectors.

He won the Best CEO in Islamic Banking award for 2017, and the Best CEO for Localization in the Banking and Financial Sector award for 2015.

He graduated from the University of Arizona.
