He held several positions at Etisalat, including Head of Regional Affairs in Asia between 2012 and 2014, Board Member of Etisalat Afghanistan from 2012 to 2014, Etisalat Sri Lanka between 2012 and 2014, Etisalat Benin between 2010 and 2011, and Head of the International Investment Group between 2008 and 2011. He also worked in the same company as a member of the Board of Directors of “Etisalat Misr” between 2007 and 2011, CEO of International Investments from 2007 to 2008, General Manager of International Investments between 2006 and 2007, Commercial Director and Operations Manager from 1995 to 1997, and Sales Supervisor and Assistant Commercial Director between 1988 and 1994. He also held several positions, including: Member of the Board of Directors of Ufone from 2012 to 2014, Pakistan Telecommunications Company Limited, and the SAMENA Board in the same year, and MOVE Ivory Coast between 2006 and 2011, Head of Commercial Affairs at Thuraya Telecommunications Company from 2002 to 2005, Executive Director of Business Development at the same company between 1997 and 2002, and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the International Telecommunication Union in the Middle East from 1997 to 1999. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing in 1988 from the University of Dayton in the United States of America.
