Minister of State for General Education Affairs since February 2016, United Arab Emirates. 

She has been a member of the Ministerial Development Council.

She has held several positions, including: Head of the School Inspection Bureau at the same authority, Executive Director of the Private Education Sector at the Dubai Education Council, and Executive Director of Dubai Knowledge Village, and Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the Emirates College for Advanced Education.

She also served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Dubai Cares Foundation, Deputy Director of the Private Education Department at the Ministry of Education between 1995 and 2004, Deputy Director of the Educational Guidance Department, and Head of the Technical Guidance Department at the same ministry. 

She is the first Emirati woman to hold the position of Minister of State for Public Education, and has won several awards, including the Khalifa Educational Award. 

She has more than 20 years of experience in educational administration and education. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management from the United Arab Emirates University in the Emirates in 1990.
