Mirwais Azizi's Bio
An Afghan businessman.
He is the founder and chairman of Azizi Developments in the UAE, a subsidiary of the Azizi Group, and the founding partner and chairman of Azizi Bank in Afghanistan.
His main areas of expertise include diverse sectors, including real estate, banking, as well as investment and hospitality project management, and philanthropy.
He was ranked among the "Most Influential Real Estate Leaders in the Middle East for 2025" by Forbes Middle East, and Arabian Business magazine ranked him among the "Top 100 Inspirational Leaders in the Middle East for 2018".
He was included in the "Pioneers in Philanthropy" list for 2025 after announcing his donation of $817,438,692 to the "Fathers Fund Campaign".
He holds a PhD in Educational Technology, a Master's degree in Healthcare Management, and a Bachelor's degree in Law from Kabul University in Afghanistan.
