He has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of KAF Investments since 2017, Akzo Nobel since 2006, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Freightworks since 2006, Board Member of Gulf Capital since 2008, and the Emirates Family Offices Association since 2024.

In addition, he is a visiting lecturer at the College of Business Administration at the American University of Sharjah, a speaker at many conferences, and a writer for many regional and Arab websites.

He was Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Hayat Insurance Company” during 2023, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the same company previously known as “ AXA Green Crescent Insurance Company ” between 2014 and 2023, a member of the Board of Directors of “NextStage AM Company” between 2016 and 2020, and AXA Insurance Company “AXA Gulf” , and a columnist in several magazines including “Gulf Business Magazine”, “Arabian Business”, and “Seven Days”.

He served as Vice Chairman of the Kanoo Group between 1997 and 2015, Assistant Shipping Manager in 1991 in the same group, and Auditor at Arthur Anderson in the UAE between 1994 and 1996.

He holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of St. Thomas in the United States, a Master’s degree in Business Administration in 2001 from the American University of Sharjah, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Administration in 1990 from the University of St. Thomas.
