Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Higher Colleges of Technology since September 2018, United Arab Emirates. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Authority , and a member of the Emirates Competitiveness Council since December 15, 2020. He served as Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation between October 19, 2017 and September 25, 2021, and Assistant Undersecretary . For the government coordination sector in the “ Ministry of Presidential Affairs ” between 2012 and 2016, and the executive director of the human resources policies sector in the “ Federal Authority for Government Human Resources ” between 2009 and 2011, by developing a number of strategic initiatives. Before joining the authority, he also worked as director of the Executive Council Affairs Department . For the Emirate of Dubai between 2005 and 2009, and he served as Director of Human Resources Projects in the Executive Office of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum between 2003 and 2005. Al Hameli chaired several steering committees and national work teams, which were formed in partnership with governmental and local agencies and institutions, as well as from the private sector, which aimed to develop government work and find solutions and initiatives for societal issues. He holds a master’s degree in human resources from the University of Pennsylvania in the United States of America, a bachelor’s degree in workforce development and training from the same university, and another bachelor’s degree in information technology from the Pennsylvania University of Technology. He is also a graduate of the Mohammed bin Rashid Program for Leadership Preparation.
