Chairman of the Board of Directors of Takaful Emirates Insurance Company since September 2024, United Arab Emirates.

He has been working with Al Ain University since April 2011, and is responsible for implementing the university’s vision according to the approved strategic plan. He has also been the Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the same university since January 2023, and a member of the Board of Directors of Tabarak Investment Company since 2013.

He is a member of many societies concerned with health, drug development and scientific research, including: the Royal Society of Chemistry, the American Foundation for Cancer Research in the United States, and the British Cancer Research Council.

He has many published researches in peer-reviewed scientific journals, and has participated in many international conferences with various working papers related to cancer, drug development, and the discovery and design of new drugs using modern technologies and computers.

He was Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Takaful Emirates Insurance Company between 2019 and 2021, a member of the Board of Directors of the same company between 2017 and 2019, and Investment Manager at Tabarak Investment Company between 2009 and 2013.

He held the position of Vice President of “ Bonyan International Investment Group ” and Executive Director of “International Investment Group” between 2009 and 2013, and was a contributor to the founding of the group.

He holds a PhD in Pharmacy in 2007 from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom, and a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry in 2004 from the University of Newcastle in the same country.
