He has been the Chairman of the Investment Committee at Catalyst Startup Accelerator since July 2019. He has held several positions at Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company, Masdar , including: Director of Strategy and Corporate Development from 2019 to 2020, Director of the Chairman’s Office from 2013 to 2019, Head of Special Projects from 2011 to 2013, Business Development Manager from 2010 to 2011, Senior Associate from 2009 to 2010, Project Assistant for Sir Bani Yas Wind Power Plant from 2008 to 2009, and Project Analyst from 2006 to 2008. He also served as Acting Executive Director of the Minister of State Office between 2016 and 2018, Chairman of the Review Committee of the Zayed Sustainability Prize between 2016 and 2018, Vice Chairman of the same committee between 2015 and 2016, and Deputy Director General of the Emirates Diplomatic Academy during 2017. He also worked as a project analyst at Mubadala Development Company between 2006 and 2008, and as an electrical engineer in the operations and maintenance department at Habshan Gas Processing Plant at Abu Dhabi Gas Industries Company (GASCO ) between 2005 and 2006. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering in 2005 from the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom, and has completed several specialized courses in projects, portfolio management, leadership, risk, and engineering.
