CEO of “ Qatar Insurance Group ” since January 2020, State of Qatar.

He is the Managing Director and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of “ QLM Life and Health Insurance Company ”, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of “ Massoun Insurance Services Company ” since 2015, and a member of the Board of Directors of both “ Kuwait Qatar Insurance Company ” and “ Oman Qatar Insurance Company ” since 2017.

He started his career in the Motor Insurance Department within Qatar Insurance Group in 2001, where he continued to work in the department for two years before receiving a scholarship to complete his studies in the United Kingdom.

He held several positions within the Qatar Insurance Group , including: Group Vice President and CEO in 2019, and Executive Vice President for the Middle East, North Africa and Global Markets region between 2015 and 2018, and was responsible for managing energy, marine and shipping insurance in the group.

He held the position of Deputy CEO at QLM Life and Health Insurance Company , and was a member of the Board of Directors of the same company, in addition to his membership in the Board of Directors of Al-Daman Islamic Insurance Company (Bima).

Forbes Middle East ranked him among the “Most Powerful CEOs in the Middle East for 2022”.

He holds a Master’s degree in Marketing in 2008 from the University of South Wales in the United Kingdom, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 2007 from the same university.
