He is the founding member and Chairman of the Board of Directors of “ Daman Investment Company ” since 1998.

He has a daily column in “Al-Ittihad” newspaper in which he comments on business topics on the local and regional levels.

He has experience in the banking sector spanning 12 years in the fields of marketing, distribution, trade finance, investment and banking, where he worked with “Citibank” between 1989 and 1993. He also worked with “Emirates Bank Group” between 1993 and 2001, and was treasurer and member of the Supreme Committee. For the “Sheikh Zayed International Prize for the Environment” between 1999 and 2001.

He holds a master’s degree in international business administration in 1988, and a bachelor’s degree in marketing in 1987 from George Washington University in the United States of America.
