He has more than 37 years of experience in the field of accounting and auditing in the Dubai government and the federal government. He served as director in the Federal Government's Audit Bureau.

He holds several positions, including Chairman of the Supreme Public Oversight Authority of the League of Arab States, and a member of the Executive Council in Dubai. Member of the Board of Directors of the Union Cooperative Society in Dubai, Member of the Board of Directors of Al Wefaq Finance Company, Member of the Board of Directors of Union National Bank, Member of the Board of Directors of Cleveland Engineering and Bridges Company, Member of the Sector Privatization Committee in Dubai.
