The Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco) was established in 1933 in Saudi Arabia. It has been listed on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) since December 11, 2019, with a share capital of SAR 60 billion.
The company operates in the field of trading, producing, refining, distributing, shipping, and marketing hydrocarbon materials, and manufacturing and equipping all products, devices, vehicles, and tools related to the energy fields, generating electricity from various sources, and transporting, distributing, and storing it.
The company provides contracting, construction, operation, maintenance, administrative, engineering, design, consulting, financial, investment funds, savings funds, securities and guarantees, and insurance services. It also provides aviation and shipping services, as well as medical and healthcare services.
The company has many branches distributed within China, Egypt, Japan, India, the Netherlands, South Korea, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America.
It is the parent company of the Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC), Aramco Chemicals Company, the Saudi Aramco Total Refining and Petrochemical Company, Aramco Trading Company, Luberef, Motiva Enterprises LLC, Saudi Aramco Jubail Refinery Company, Saudi Aramco Mobil Refinery Co Ltd, Aramco Americas, Aramco Gulf Operations Company, among others.
It is a founding partner in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Refining Company in Bahrain.
