Acting CEO of the Saudi Electricity Company, since September 25, 2024, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

He has held the position of Executive Vice President of Technical Services at the same company since January 2023, and the acting Vice President of Risk Management and Compliance.

He has also been a member of the Advisory Board at Alfaisal University since May 2023, and a member of the Board of Directors of Wadi Solutions Company since January 2023.

He has 20 years of experience in the fields of engineering, digital transformation, automation and information technology.

He joined the Saudi Electricity Company in 2022, where he held the position of Chief Engineer between 2022 and 2023, and Senior Vice President of Information Technology and Digital Transformation, where he supervised the implementation of information technology and digital transformation strategies and programs.

He previously held several positions at Saudi Aramco, including:

• Director of Digital Strategy, Investments and Growth through 2021.
• Head of Growth and Digital Strategy 2019-2021.
• Project Manager of the Fourth Industrial Revolution Center during 2019.
• General Supervisor of Advanced Operations Solutions Department between 2015 and 2019.
• Head of Process Automation Systems between 2013 and 2014.
• Head of Automation and Control Systems Unit between 2012 and 2013.
• Head of Planning during 2010, and Factory Automation Network Officer between 2008 and 2010.
• Senior Control Systems Engineer between 2005 and 2008.

He worked at Honeywell in the United Kingdom, and was a network operations analyst at Saudi Telecom Company (STC) between 2001 and 2002.

He holds a Master’s degree in Information Systems in 2010 from Phoenix College in the United States, and a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering in 2000 from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals .
