Saudi Real Estate Company - Al Akaria was established on July 15, 1976, by Royal Decree and is the first Saudi joint-stock company operating in the real estate development sector in the Kingdom. The company is listed on the Saudi Exchange - Tadawul.
Al Akaria develops residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects, with a diversified real estate portfolio across Saudi Arabia. Its key projects include Fai Sedra, Fai Sedra 2, Al Akaria Hills, Al Akaria Park, Al Akaria Plaza, and Al Reef.
The Public Investment Fund - PIF owns 64.57% of the company's shares, while the remaining 35.43% is held by other shareholders, none of whom individually holds more than 5%.
Al Akaria's subsidiaries include the Saudi Korean Company for Maintenance and Property Management - Mumtalakat, Saudi Real Estate Infrastructure Company - Binyah, Saudi Real Estate Construction Company - Tamear, and UNBOX, which specializes in shared workspaces
