General information
The Lebanese American University was founded in 1924.
It is a private institution of higher education, operating under a charter from the Board of Regents of the State University of New York and accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).
It contains many colleges in different fields, such as: the College of Medicine, the College of Engineering and Architecture, the College of Pharmacy, the College of Business Administration, and the College of Arts and Sciences.
