He served as a member of the Board of Directors of Abu Dhabi Aviation Company between February 26, 2020 and April 27, 2023, and as CEO of the Exploration, Development and Production Department at Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) , and Chairman of the Board of Directors of ADNOC Drilling Company .
He was a member of the Board of Trustees of Khalifa University and CEO of Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operations (ADCO), where he joined the company in 1975 as a trainee, and rose through the ranks until he reached the position of General Manager of the company in 2001.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1982 from the United Kingdom.
