Abdul Rahim Al-Buqai's Bio
Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Jordan Petroleum Refinery Company since September 2024, Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
He is the owner of “Abdul Rahim Al-Buqai and Partners Company”, and a member of the Board of Directors and Secretary of the “ Jordanian Businessmen Association ”.
He has been appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of the Jordan Petroleum Refinery Company since 2007.
He held the position of Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Jordan Petroleum Refinery Company between 2020 and 2024, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Belarus between 2005 and 2007, and Deputy Secretary of the Amman Municipality between 1998 and 2006.
He was a member of the Jordanian House of Representatives between 2010 and 2016, the 28th Jordanian Senate , the Awqaf Development and Investment Fund between 2007 and 2002, the Management Committee of the Transport Regulatory Commission between 2001 and 2007, and the Greater Amman Municipality Council.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering in 1983 from California State University in the United States of America.
