Acting Executive Director of the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre, affiliated with the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi , United Arab Emirates. He has been the Executive Director of the National Library Sector at the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi since 2012, and the Director of the Libraries Department in the Libraries Sector at the same department since 2012. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the National Archives of the United Arab Emirates , and a member of the Board of Trustees of both the Sheikh Zayed Book Award and the International Prize for International Fiction. He held several positions at the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi , including: Project Director of the Sheikh Zayed Book Award, the Kalima Translation Project, the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, and Abu Dhabi Libraries. He also held several positions at the Cultural Foundation in Abu Dhabi, most notably Executive Director of the Sheikh Zayed Book Award in 2006, in addition to his work as an editor in the Public Relations Department at Adjaz Company for one year. He has 26 years of experience in the field of government administration, forming administrative teams, following up on the institutional and functional performance of the National Library sector, managing its affairs, evaluating the extent to which programs and plans achieve goals, and building strategic cooperative partnerships at the local and global levels. He holds a Master's degree in Humanities in 2005 from Ain Shams University in Egypt , and a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, specializing in Public Relations, in 1998 from the United Arab Emirates University .
