She is the Director of the Research and Development Department at the General Women’s Union , an expert in gender mainstreaming at the same organization, and the President of the Emirates Ladies Toastmasters Club.

She has more than 20 years of experience, is a certified trainer in administrative fields from the Abu Dhabi Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training, a certified teacher in positive parenting from the American Positive Parenting Association PDA, and a certified educational consultant in dealing with childhood and adolescent issues.

She began her career at the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research, and held several positions at the center, including: head of the Population and Labor Market Studies Department.

She holds a Master's degree in Quality Management from the University of Wollongong in Dubai in 2010, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the United Arab Emirates University in 1994.
