He served as Director of Special Projects for Training and Development at the Abu Dhabi University Knowledge Group, and as Marketing and Public Relations Manager at the same group. He also served as General Manager of Marketing, Sales, and Distribution for FMCG at Al Ain Farms, and as Regional Marketing Manager at Tesco in the United States.

He holds a PhD in Strategy and Business Intelligence from Leicester Business School in the UK in 2003, an MBA from London Business School in 2018, and a BA in Business Administration from Lebanon.
