In this role, Jihad leads the development and execution of the group’s overall strategy and shapes its corporate culture. In this capacity, he oversees the establishment of institutional performance systems, drives the company’s digital transformation strategy, while strengthening governance practices, organizational alignment, executive recruitment, and engagement with regulators and investors.

With more than 23 years of experience across diverse sectors, including real estate development, food retail, construction, transportation, food and beverages, and engineering, Jihad has built deep expertise in strategic management, corporate development, and shared services oversight. His experience spans key functional areas such as human resources, procurement, facilities management, information technology, and corporate communications. Throughout his career, he has successfully designed and implemented strategic plans for multiple organizations.

Prior to his current role, Jihad served as Senior Director of Strategy and Shared Services and previously as Director of Organizational Development at Alturki Holding. He also held leadership positions as Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer at Dar Al-Riyadh, Organization Development Manager at Panda Retail Company (a subsidiary of Savola Group), and Acting Director of the Project Management Office and Project Coordinator at Emaar, The Economic City.

From May 2020 to June 2023, Jihad served as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Certification Commission of the International Association of Strategy Professionals (IASP). During his tenure, he contributed to the association’s organizational transformation, the development of its Certification Program, and its global expansion to include professionals from leading international organizations and government entities. He also championed the program’s regional growth in the Middle East by introducing certification in Arabic.

Jihad is a founding member of the Syria Advisors Network (Shams) and has received numerous awards recognizing his contributions to the field of strategy. These include the IASP “Distinguished Service Award” (2023) and the “Member of the Year” awards (2021 and 2022) for his leadership in certification programs, strategic partnerships, and the launch of the ALP/CPP Learning Provider Program. He has also received honors from Dar Al-Riyadh, Savola Group, and the Strategy Friends Association.

Jihad holds an MBA from Heriot-Watt University’s Edinburgh Business School (2013) and a BA in Economics (Accounting Major) from Aleppo University (2002). He has also completed extensive professional training in project management, human resources, planning, leadership, and business.
