Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of “ Qalaa Holdings ”, Arab Republic of Egypt.

He held the position of Managing Director of the same company, and held several positions at “Hermes Financial Group”, including: Managing Director, Head of Securities Brokerage B 1997 and 1999, Head of Private Equity between 1999 and 2001, Head of Investment Banking between 1996 and 1997, and Head of Asset Management between 1994 and 1995.

He was awarded the 2014 “African Business Personality of the Year” at the African Investor Media Awards.

He holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Management from Stanford University in the United States of America.
