He has over 40 years of experience in business transformation, operational excellence, stakeholder management, and organizational leadership across the manufacturing and processing industries, during which he held several leadership positions in the Aditya Birla Group, most recently as the Group’s Chief Executive Officer.

He also held several positions in companies affiliated with Aditya Birla, including: Co-President of Technical Affairs, Employee Relations and Human Resources at PT Indo Bharat Rayon, Vice President of Technical Affairs at PT Indo Bharat Rayon, in addition to holding the position of Assistant Vice President of Technical Affairs at Grasim Industries Limited.

He held the position of First President and Head of Unit for the Pulp and Fiber Sector at Grasim Industries Ltd., Head of Business Unit at April Corporation in Indonesia, and Head of Site at both Arkayan Group and Indo Rama Synthetics Ltd.

He holds a PhD in Marketing from Amity University (2015), a Master's in Industrial Production from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (1994), a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering from Punjab University (1987), a Diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations (1997), and completed the Management for Technicians program, specializing in Public Administration, at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (1997).
